The Voice of the Martyrs has just released, on a limited viewing basis, a full-length motion picture based on the international bestselling book Tortured for Christ.
What’s the movie about?
It is a movie depicting the dramatic testimony of Pastor Richard Wurmbrand and his wife as told in the international bestseller Tortured for Christ. In 1945, Communists seized power and a million Russian troops poured into his beloved Romania. Pastor Wurmbrand was captured by the secret police and held as “Prisoner Number 1.” Yet, fourteen years of unthinkable torture in a Communist prison could not break his faith.
Here is the trailer for the movie.
Where will it be showing?
The movie will be showing all over the country. For folks who live in or near Rock Hill it will be playing for one day only Monday, March 5, 2018, at 7:30 pm and only showing at the Regal Manchester Stadium 14 (just off I-77). Who should view this movie?
This is a powerful movie about a man who lost almost everything because he stood up to a communist regime that tried to force atheism on the people of Romania. One man stood against an invading force and proclaimed the gospel of Jesus Christ. I think this movie is appropriate for anyone over 13 years old, but it is especially suitable for inspiring a men’s group or for older teen students. This event could be used as a “guy’s night out.” This movie calls men to be godly men and stand strong in their faith that Jesus is the Lord and Savior, and that suffering is a worthy calling when authorities attempt to compromise the gospel message.
